Gallas in gunners blast
The French defender claims several Gunners players are unhappy following the deaprture of Thierry Henry to Barcelona and insists Wenger's policy of buying young players will not deliver trophies.
And he revealed he plans to hold talks with the board when he returns for pre-season training to discuss his own future after becoming frustrated at Arsenal's failure to compete with title contenders Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool.
He told his own website: "What is sure, it is that several players are questioning the club's future.
"Around us, all the teams are recruiting but what is planned to compensate for the departure of Titi Henry?
"I am not at Arsenal to play for third place. It is necessary to recruit players of reputation because the young players have many qualities but the season is very long.
"The young players are thirsty for victories but Arsenal must obtain results to gain titles. If not, one will have to change policy and do the same as the other teams: recruit with more means.
"I will have a discussion with Arsene Wenger and board members to know the objectives of the club this season and what they wish to set up to build an even more competitive team."
And despite only joining Arsenal from Chelsea last season, Gallas indicated he may seek a move if Wenger cannot convince him the club are moving forward.
He added: "Today I am at Arsenal but I do not know what can occur tomorrow.
"All happens so quickly in the world of football."

Its a shame really, but if their is a mass exodus at Arsenal then wenger will only have himself to blame, its all well and good bringing youth players for the future in,but you need to think about the here and now as well.

When Henry is gone it's time for the other players to deliever.Arsenal could be a better team without Henry with more responsible to the other players. Now they no longer have to live in the shadow of Henry.People talked more about Henry than Arsenal before and maybe now people will talk more about Arsenal.

thats true, just look at us last year because we sold Ruud,a lot of people were saying we would struggle to score goals, when in fact it was totally the opposite, you could say the same when Everton sold Rooney they got a top four finish(not that they could even qualify for anything )

Yeah, selling one of your best players dosen't mean the club is on their wrong way.I'm surprised Arsenal could keep him all the seasons he played for Arsenal because he have been in top 3 of the best strikers in the world for several years now and it isn't easy to keep players on such high level in the club when clubs like Milan, Real Madrid and Barcelona tries to tempt players away to sign for them.

Prof that Gallas is a prick, no respect to the hand that feeds him.
Quality player, could of gone on to great thing with Chelsea.
If he wants to leave though , I would take him back , if he apologies to JM, apologies to the fans.

Obviously , he wouldn't of left us other wise.
It's a shame though he's 2nd best defender in league , a player I wouldn't like to see leave England, even if he plays for Arsenal.
Watch out Arsenal, he score an own goal if you play him.

He may be a prick, but he's a class player and one who we need to keep for next year. Although I agree that once in a while we need to buy an established player rather than relying solely on youngsters developing.

So now Gallas is a prick because he speaks his mind?
He hasn't "hinted" at anything. As he is one of the senior players at Arsenal it is his resposibility to speak for the younger players. If Fabregas or one of the other young players came out and said that it would be a different story.
He has issued a warning and a very valid one at that. The only player Arsenal have bought so far is that young very good prospect from Croatia. Considering the money Arsenal got for the Henry deal, the extra cash from the PL and the extra revenue from the new stadium I'd be surprised if the Arsenal players weren't wondering if the squad is going to be improved.
If Arsenal doesn't improve the squad they will have trouble securing 4th spot nevermind challenging for trophies! The players know that and want to know what is going to be done about it.
