I would love to see Eto'o next season cos adebayor, baptista & aliadiere isn't so good for our team. may be adebayor is good but next year we will have minimum 2 good striker henry and van persie (bendtner is optional) and we need 4 so we need to buy eto'o or f.torres or villa or huntelaar. i think we needen't ribery cos we have rosicky who can score goals. and we need good gk with streng nerves (i think our defence isn't good cos of lehmann's argues with gallas and toure) i know about russian football and i can say tath good nerves of kepper gives defenders much confidence and in lokomotiv case opponets' strikers couldn't make a lot of 1 to 1 cases. akinfeev's nerves are made from steal so CSKA can play with 3 defs without any trouble. and buffon is very good too. i want to see out baptista cos he is worst player i have ever seen in arsenal jersey and his adventure in carling cup is more cos of aliadiere. Aliadiere is very good striker but his determination is not so good as his pace

id like to see a world class striker come to old trafford someone like torres ,eto or even berbatov hes proved this season hes got a good eye for goal,i think we need another midfielder obviously hargreaves has been linked with us but if he doesnt come, gattuso or even kaka if hed come ,and id like to see another young prospect to bring in to the team, nani has been linked and he seems to be highly rated so him or someone simalar,on their way out richardson definitley, the guy doesnt contribute nothing and silvestre too the guys been a good servant to the club but its time to move on.

yah, so do you think that he would fit in well, as a good replacement for Lehmann, and if not then who? (Buffon?)

I dont think he's good enough for such a big club like Arsenal, too many mistakes under pressure etc.
Not sure who could replace Lehmann, Cudicini could be one as he's still very good and wants first team football, Ben Foster aswell although I doubt Man Utd would let him go.

EVERY 'keeper makes mistakes (I've seen Schmeichel make lots but he's still regarded as one of the best).
He's made two mistakes I can remember (they were both this season. Maybe has something to do with off field pressure).
I can give you several games where he has been outstanding (just ask Henry and Gilardino how good he is).
Buffon even said he could be world class.
He's better than Robinson, imo.

I think Gordon would do well for Arsenal. He has had a difficult time this season with Hearts because he never knows whether he is even going to be playing never mind who will be playing in the defence in front of him.
Sometimes he does make a couple of mistakes, but every goalkeeper does at some time. For his own development I think he needs to get away from Tynecastle and Romanov sorry, just the mention of Romanov makes me laugh.

Lehmann cagey on Gunners future
Goalkeeper Jens Lehmann has refused to commit his future to Arsenal, but would not be drawn on reports linking him with a return to Germany.
Lehmann is the subject of intense speculation regarding his future, but the stopper would not comment on reports linking him with Hertha Berlin and Bayern Munich.
"I am in a situation at the moment where I have to make a decision at some point, but there is no fixed date for that to be made," he said.
"Every week, a new club is linked with me, while everybody knows I am also happy at Arsenal.
"I'd rather not talk about it all."
Instead, he too has been doing his homework on the Czech Republic and knows he is in for a busy night when Germany travel to Prague on Saturday.
He will come up against former Dortmund team-mate Jan Koller, while present Arsenal colleague Tomas Rosicky will also be looking to get one over on him.
"Koller is a good player and almost all of the attacks go via him," added Lehmann.
"I know nothing is going to be easy pickings in the 18-yard box.
"Rosicky is very dangerous and the only advantage we can take is that he has had a few niggling injuries recently and maybe is not fit for the full 90 minutes."

Yeah because Wenger has a long habit of buying expensive household names .
You would need atleast 25M to get Gigi and Arsenal simply don't have that to spend on a GK. You could get Gordon for just under 10M.

can someone else step up and take henry's place...this includes 20+ goals a seaon in the premiership alone?van persie can but he is not ready yet to shoulder such responsiblity for his age!i would prefer a major swop like for eto'o villa or huntellar to instill some fear or surprise in our rivals(man u and the gang)!we need a better goalie given and buffon come in mind but gordon is a cheaper and more available target.we also need a proper left winger like reyes malouda nani navas bale...etcthe defense is ok but i would favour a sendeross loan, djorrou is a better defender plus gibbs will be back in the summer!bale can play both as a left back and as a winger versatility..!
