Henry's form is somehow not so 'great' this season...

I'm going go ahead and disagree with you, Henry has played magnificent when he iis not injured prove that he hasn't...... you wont!

Cool down dude... Well, I need to make myself clear here, I am not saying that Henry is not great or he is poor but I am saying that his form this season is not that 'great' that won him the Golden Boot.
The point here is that whether Eto'o can play well with who... It is just my point of view that Fabregas is now the important player more than anyone in Arsenal's team... He can set up passing for Eto'o.
I always admire Henry and that will never change...

A five star striker must come to Arsenal this summer, or it could be another trophy-less season.
1. Klaas-Jan Huntelaar (Ajax) Would the first ever goalscorer at the Emirates Stadium make that ground his permanent home? Only if Manchester United don’t come calling and Arsenal agree to cough up £10m. Arsenal should be able to beat Newcastle and Portsmouth to his services.
2. Luca Toni (Fiorentina) There’s not much chance of this happening with Wenger in charge, unless he has a complete volte-face. He’s a proper centre forward, perfect for the English game. He’s the sort of player who could have beaten Alex in the air to some of the balls launched into the box at the Emirates Stadium against PSV Eindhoven. And if you can score 30 goals in one season in Italy, where defences are tighter than Arsenal’s transfer budget, then you will thrive in England! At 29 though, how many more years at the top has he got?
3. David Villa (Valencia). The 25-year-old is a bit of Premiership flirt, favouring Man U, Chelsea and Liverpool as well as Arsenal. He said: "I am attracted to…the pace and mobility of Arsenal, especially at home."
4.Fernando Torres (Atlético Madrid) Much coveted and will cost in excess of £15m, which may be too pricey for Arsenal. At least he’s young enough to be a Wenger recruit. He would also be willing to join. He has said: "If Arsenal and a coach like Arsene Wenger want to speak to you it's really flattering. They're in the Champions League every season. I want to play against the best and challenge for the biggest titles.”
5. Samuel Eto’o (Barcelona) The 25-year-old prophetically once said: “We will play together. We will be team-mates...He (Henry) is my friend."
With Eto’o out of favour at Barca, the smart money is on the Cameroon international lining up with Henry at the Emirates Stadium next season.
The striker has a London-based representative touting him around the top Premiership club, even though Eto’o’s Spanish agent has denied this, we know for a fact that this is going on.
What we’re not so sure about is whether Henry will be at Highbury next season. Should the number 14 leave, it may affect Arsenal’s ability to recruit the world’s best talent. After all, everyone wants to play alongside him, let’s face it. So perhaps, Henry’s worth keeping for that reason, even if he doesn’t cut it on the pitch.

And we are proud to be Arsenal

Arsenal & Liverpool to swoop for Lyon star
12:36 3/16/2007
Olympic Lyonais have put Eric Abidal up for sale, and Arsenal are reportedly in talks with his agent.

The international defender have confirmed that he is looking for a way out of Stade de Gerland in the summer and has told his agent David Venditelli that he would be keen to join a Spanish or an English club.
A host of clubs are chasing the highly rated full-back. In Spain, Barcelona are following the player, but Real Madrid will be looking for a left back in the summer and are likely to swoop for Abidal.
Liverpool have also shown interest in the 27-year-old defender, but Arsenal are reportedly holding talks with the player’s agent and are ready to splash out €15m to lure Lyon.
"We have looked for teams in Italy, but Eric feels that there is too much racism in the game there”, Venditelli told Gazzetta dello Sport
"He would prefer to move to Spain or England.
"Barcelona and Arsenal are currently leading the chase, but Liverpool and Real are also very keen on him."

Arsenal keeper offered Hertha Berlin deal
07:56 3/16/2007
The Bundeslga side are set to tempt Jens Lehmann with a two-year contract offer

The 37-year-old has been offered a one-year extension by Arsenal in line with club policy and manager Arsene Wenger said earlier in the week that he was confident of keeping the Germany international.
Hertha however have come up with a sponsorship package that matches Lehmann's current wage and hope the chance to return home is enough to seal the deal.

Arsenal to miss out on long-term £14million target
12:06 3/14/2007
Bayern Munich are convinced Arsenal Football Club will miss out on Franck Ribery.

The Marseille winger is one of the hottest properties in European football, with Bayern and the Gunners believed to be lining up £14million bids when the transfer window reopens in the summer.
However, the German giants are certain Ribery will end up in Spain with Real Madrid as the Galacticos look for a replacement for LA Galaxy-bound David Beckham.
"It seems logical to me to see him (Ribery) in a Real Madrid shirt next season as David Beckham plays in the same position," said Bayern president Franz Beckenbauer to Marca.

Arsenal interests Gordon
Quote:
Craig Gordon has admitted that 'any player' would be interested in joining Arsenal, although the Hearts goalkeeper has attempted to play down talk of a possible summer move to the Premiership.
Scotland's number one attracted strong interest from Fulham and Bayern Munich in January, but rumours of interest from Emirates Stadium continue to persist as his future remains a subject of debate at Tynecastle.
Gordon spent a spell on the sidelines following the turn of the year after apparently falling into Vladimir Romanov's bad books for his involvement in a public protest by former team-mates Paul Hartley and Steven Pressley.
Both have since moved on to Celtic, and Gordon could well join them in departing come the end of the season.
Arsenal may be looking for a new shot-stopper if Jens Lehmann declines to sign a new one-year deal and Gordon admits the prospect of playing under Arsene Wenger would be appealing.
However, the talented keeper is currently focused on succeeding for both club and country in what remains of the season.
"It is one of the top teams in Britain, in Europe, if not the world so it is something that would definitely interest any player," Gordon told Sky Sports News.
"As far as I am concerned it's not in a transfer window and I am concentrating playing here for Hearts and helping Scotland remain top of their European group."

Well Arsenal will need a new keeper soon and Gordon is a great young option, I don't think Lehmann will be staying personally.

This could definitely happen.
Hearts lost 4-0 at home at the weekend, worst home defeat in many years. Gordon threw the captains armband away and seems to be disgraced by the team, always thought he would move on after the bust-up with Romanov and as Hartley and Pressley left the club.

TBH i dont think he would be good enough for Arsenal.
Makes alot of mistakes in the big games e.g celtic this year, as for stats they dont really show much about Gordon himself as the defence in front of them is pretty poor.
30 goals conceded in 31 matches.
25 years old
Scotland's No.1
I will try and get some proper stats arsenal007
