Catalunya 0 - 1 Argentina

Basile's line-up was very attacking which inluded all of: la pulga, pipita, el pocho and kun. but non of the four could convert the many chances we had in the first half... while in the second half we dominated the match and at last scored after a nice attack: Banega sent a long ball to aguero who stopped the ball and then sent a strong pass to biglia who tried to shoot but managed a cross that Lavezzi continued to the net with a beatiful volley.

the performance was very unsatisfying. this team needs trabajo - work - in order to defend the Olympic gold medal in Beijing.

Nice to see Valdes get a callup for something. The 1-0 scoreline looks quite good for Catalunya, shame for me that they didn't get a result.

Catalunya had some good players there in Verdu, Valdes, Luis Garcia, Bruno Aitor, Pique, Belenguer, Serrano, Jonathan and Coro.

It's also nice to see Fazio get a callup for Argentina.
