Default Friendly: Mexico 1-4 Argentina

the match will start within minutes, in the USA.

a serious test for the team ahead of the WC qualifiers against ecuador and brasil. and probably more important, the games in beijing.

Messi's goal is the best one.

The best passing National Team atm.

What a frigging attack line.

Kun Aguero and Messi, most gifted team in world football.

This team has the best talents, but their main problem is the goalie ... Pato is shit and the other one, isn't much better.

They need a better LB, Their Center back Duo is Rock solid.

excellent attacking performance of the team tonight!!
messi, maxi, kun & cruz seem to be the best combination atm though we will have 2 more chances to check it up before the vital matches (brasil and olympic games).

Kun impressed me the most tbf. like the argentinian magazing OLE said: his relationship with gennina, diego's daughter, has made him a better player and a more diego like player. lol, but it's very true... watch his assists and goal.

Messi was spectacular like always. 2 assists and 1 goal. look at the 3rd goal (maxi's goal), watch how 4 mexican players ran at him and he didn't get too excited, he ran forward and delivered a good pass to maxi...

one of the players who excelled was fernando gago... what a great player. he's becoming a solid midfield holder and his offensive ability is a great bonus.

the defence was good, could be better though... zanetti is "no words", micho was very good - didn't start the match well but then he was very good, burdisso was very decent! I was surprised... and collocini was okay too. I might prefer heinze/garay for the following matches.

pato is not on a good form. had a big part in the goal. but he provided some stunning long balls!

Excellent result.

Is this still the same coach as the last WC?

I like to see an Italian in charge of this side, then it will return to glory.

Lionel, I read that Sosa played 85 minutes. Was he any good? If you could rate a little his performance, please. I haven't liked what I've seen from him at Bayern this season, even though, he has not played much.

Glad to read Micho had a good night.

I read Sosa only came on at the 85th minute, along with Lisandro Lopez.

oliver_kahn is right, he went in in the 85th minute, he didn't play 85 minutes

I doubt sosa will get any minutes in the coming matches but in the olympic games he is supposed to be a key player.

no, it's a new manager... pekermann left right after the WC.

I don't realy like what I've seen so far from "el coco" alfio basile, beside that he is very interesting in press conferences, because in the copa america he built a team that was too dependant on riquelme, and we saw what happened when riquelme was not good (in the final)... and in the last friendlies he showed no tactical thinking... but I will have a clearer opinion of him after the match against brasil and the olympic games.

WOW...
Argentina have the best NT nowadays ... they are on top form!
They have many players for each position, and all of them are good, even great.
I'm happy that Gago did well, he impresses me every time he plays. Young, talented, and responsible, what a player Real Madrid have

Based on what?

Argentina is my second side after Italia, but they have to improve still to compete with Germany, Italia and France.
