Lanús are on first place now and a win today vs. argentinos juniors will make them very very close to their first title ever.. so I thought they need a thread

Lanús played the best football in argentina in the last 6 months and they deserve the title.

FT: Lanús 0 | 0 Argentinos Juniors

disappointing. their 5 wins run (7 home wins) come to an end, but they become 4 points away from boca and lead the ranking with 34 points to matchdays left, 3 points more than tigre who are second.
Lanúsl can celebrate on wednesday if they beat gimnasia la plat at home, and tigre don't beat boca... still it is very likely that Lanús finish #1.

Apertura MD19: Lanús Vs. Gimnasia La Plata

match to start in a few minutes!

Lanús are now with 34 points like Tigre both in the first place but tigre already played their match in MD19. (only 2 matches of MD19 will be today the other will be next week, the two matches that can afect the title are now). if Lanús win then on sunday a draw will win them the title but it won't be easy against boca who are looking for revenge(after they lost the last apertura because they couldn't beat Lanús). Lanús lose or draw today then they will have to win in el bombonera or they lose the title.

Gimnasia LP are one of the weakest teams in the league so Lanús shouldn't have a problem at home...but hey, an easy match in argentina?

PABLO BENITEZZ!

Sand adds an assist to his record.

87' : Lanús 4 - 0 Gimnasia LP

it is all up to the BIG ONE on sunday: BOCA-LANUS. only Lanús can win the title on sunday but in case they lose to boca and tigre beat argentinos juniors, Lanús and tigre finish 1st with the same number of points.

FT: Lanús 4 | 0 Gimnasia La Plata

excellent match of Lanús! Valeri, acosta and sand were great.

Bravo Ramon Cabrero! the youth team manager who took over the senior team on a low point one year ago, and since then Lanus are looking up and up and up.

100% deserved. played the best football.

the happiest day in the history of this small city that is the birthplace of Diego Armando Maradona.

absolutely.
they dominated almost every match. the scored the biggest number of goals (34). they were leaders for 5 weeks maybe.

the manager did great job with this very young team. he played with many youngster he trained when he was the coach of the youth team of Lanus. he knows those players very well and they are al very happy under him.

plus, their strier, jose sand, is an amazing player, a real match winner. 15 goals this season(in 19 matches).

many of their players might leave to europe in january. like valeri and acosta.

this is the beauty of football. who plays better wins. no matter how many fans you have or how how much money!
(lanus don't have a quarter of the money boca has)

this title (and being in the copa-libertadores next tourney) will put alot of many to Lanus and they will gain many new fans like every new champion.
