good start, mainly for messi and riquelme who proved-wrong the rumors about a conflict between them. they look fatal together.
The team overall did not function well, probably because the opponents were very tough, much stronger than expected.
batista's tactics didn't look good untill towards end of the match, after the substitution of angel di maria for lavezzi, that changed the game entirely and gave the game plan what it needed in order to work.

and untill di maria came in, we were playing with no wingers at all... but afterwards, our game was booted and we were playing great.
Messi was one level above all other players. the africans were kicking him repeatedly, but he got the upper hand in the end.
number 15 on his shirt look bad, but his football does the job...
