receiving the silver medal was a hard moment for messi. he took it educatively, but removed it very quickly.
his face tell everything.

Indeed, poor Argentina loosed the title for a worse NT !!
It always sad when you're better, but you loose anyway. I feel with you Messi.
anyway I'm sure that Argentina will have the copa sometime with Messi

you can be great even without winning the copa.. maradona never won a copa! so it's not that sad for me, I prefer to focus on the WC, but lately, all the teams are support are being losers, so I doubt they'll ever get that.
a realy tough loss in the final. I don't know if messi will recover from that in the near future, it realy depresses young(and not young sometimes) players for a certain perioud of time. I hope it's not going to hurt his performances.

Messi is great !! I don't believe that loosing the copa for Brazil will have any influence on him. He'll try to get the copa in the future, & IMO there's nothing that can stop him

that's the kind of posts I like to rep jk
I'm this will have a certain influence on messi (good maybe?). but even its a bad one, it won't last long, 1 or 2 months and then he'll leave it behind.
I remember eto'o coming back from the african championships, after a cruel loss to Ivory coast in penalties, and for the rest of the season he wasn't himself, he hardly scored, was never concentrated...

good influence .. bad influence ..
he will miss Barca's Pre-season !!!
i found that :
Milito And Messi Will Miss Barcelona's Pre-Season
Quote:
Barcelona's Argentinian pair, exhausted after reaching the Copa America final only to lose 3-0 to Brazil, will miss the pre season tours to Scotland and Asia; instead, they'll rest up before pre season...
FC Barcelona has announced that new signing Gabi Milito will be granted a leave of absence after completing his medical and signing for the Nou Camp club.
Alongside his compatriot Lionel Messi, as well as Mexican internationalist Rafa Marquez, he is being given extra recuperation time ahead of the new season. The trio will skip the pre-season tour of Scotland and the exhibition matches in Asia.
Milito is expected to undergo his fitness test on Wednesday and will then rest up. The three Copa America players will report back to the club on August 7.

Messi deserves the extra time off.Who cares about the preseason?Would you rather have him 100% in the preseason and miss the season or have him miss the Preseason and 100% the actual Season?
