HT: Boca 2 - 0 Velez Sarsfield
palermo scored twice! ibarra assisted twice!
the two legends of boca make the two goals.
palacio was great. banega, gonzales and cardozo were decent too.

not many scoring chances in this match even though it is running from box to box.

Martin Palermo is 2 goals from becoming the all time top goalscorer of boca juniors!!! PALERMO!!

FT: Boca Juniors 4 | 0 Velez S.
[17' Palermo]
[34' Palermo]
[73' Palacio]
[74' Gonzalez]

palermo man of the match with the two goals and so much fighting and pace!
gonzalez scores his first goal for boca in a great match of his, with an assist to palacio (3rd goal) and starting the 2nd goal.
banega supplied the best moment of the match with a genious rabona pass!! an excellent through ball with the foot behind the body, to put cardozo 1 on 1 with the goalkeeper but the assistant referee saw an off-side.
Sena from velez was sent off, undeservedly, towards the end. and the 3rd goal of boca was an off-side. so it wasn't a great match of the referee.

great win. we are just 3 points away from lanus and lanus are going to come to our 'bonboniera' for the match of the season! we can't lose this title!

DAMN...

35': Arsenal 1 - 0 Boca
san martin scored in the 20th minute with a header after arsenal were makig pressure and we were saved by caranta who made 7/8 great saves including 5 saves in one attack!
after the goal boca are looking better but not good enough, nothing works for palermo.

EDIT: (36') WOOW what a fucking save of CARANTA!!! wow!

FT: Arsenal 2 | 1 Boca Juniors

very bad first half, but we controlled the second and got tens of great chances but palacio and palermo missed from 100% goal situations...

3rd place now, and we pray that lanus don't win today or we are out.

(MD19)
FT: Tigre 2 | 1 Boca Juniors

Palermo scored after 8 minutes. but tigre scored twice in the 71' and 76' - Lazzaro the first and moral the second.

its lanus or tigre now.

only 2 matches of MD19 were(will be) played today because boca have to go to japan... the two matches that will determine the champion.
tigre - boca, and , lanus - gimnasia which will start in a few minutes.
tigre win this match and are now on level with lanus. which means lanus won't celebrate today and that the big match on sunday : boca - lanus, can either win the title for lanus or make lanus and tigre finish with the same number of points what till lead to a play-off match for the title!

anyway, today boca were very disappointing and lost away to tigre who played a great second half.

Ischia arregló su contrato y es el nuevo DT de Boca - 26 Noticias

Carlos Ischia

Managerial Career
2002............Vélez Sársfield
2004-2005...Gimnasia de La Plata
2005............Junior(Colombia)
2007............Rosario Central
2008-> ..........Boca Juniors

he is not so experienced and he never had great success with the teams he managed. I would prefer someone else but he might do well with boca.

Default Boca Juniors Release Carlos Bueno

Quote:
According to reports from the Argentine press Boca Juniors will not extend Carlos Bueno's stay at the Buenos Aires club.

Bueno, who is a Uruguayan international, was rarely used by former Boca coach Miguel Angel Russo last season, after joining the club from Paris Saint Germain.

The Argentine club were not happy with his campaign last season, even though in truth they never really gave him a chance to prove himself.

Jose Beraldi informed Bueno's agent Paco Casal the news, and the striker is more than likely to return to France.

"Bueno won't continue at the club," Boca's vicepresident told the press.

"His agent Paco Casal knew he was on a trial, and we already told him our decision."

Since arriving at Boca in the middle of 2007, Bueno played ten matches, and scored only once, in the 2-1 defeat at Arsenal.

Originally Bueno was set to stay at Boca until next June, but the fact that no extension was signed allowed the Argentine giants to let him go without any attachments.

According to reports Penarol will make an attempt to bring the striker back to Montevideo.
Goal.com - Argentina - Boca Juniors Release Carlos Bueno

good.. the young talents in boca will get a chance now. I don't think we will go for a striker in this time.

Clausura MD1....HT: Rosario Central 0 - 0 Boca Juniors

very disappointing half. weak football with very few chances for both teams.
riquelme is playing with no pace and is not involved enough in the match. palacio is disappointing aswell he decision making is very slow. the defence was good, paletta and maidana were good caceres okay. cardozo and palermo must get more involved in the next half...
