He's probably been the MVP to his team of any American Abroad.

Question Eh...

It's too bad he can't make it in the international arena. Note: I was not using a pun here. Although it is funny how that wordplay worked out, seeing how the U.S. international team is coached by Bruce Arena.

With Beasley ahead of him at that spot, it's tough to break through.

Once again, why didn't he make Soccer America's top ten?

Agree with you on that. He's really had a good year so far.

WINNERS:

American winger EDDIE LEWIS set up two goals in Preston North End's 3-2 win over Sunderland on New Year's Day, four days after notching a goal and an assist in a 3-0 win over Reading. Against Sunderland, Lewis set up goals for Richard Cresswell with a free kick and a flick-on. Against Reading, he scored on American keeper Marcus Hahnemann with a tap-in after having assisted on the game's first goal with a free kick. American Bobby Convey played the final 34 minutes for Reading, whose three-game win streak ended against Preston.

I don't know of many players that don't have an off game. Considering the fact that Eddie is not an elite player your opinion on his performance is not surprising -- it's bound to happen.
