The other young American at Man United, Kenny Cooper, scored 2 goals today in United's 3-1 victory over City in the Manchester Senior Cup final. Looks like they both have very bright futures.

got to love the youth movement everywhere.
I truely believe soccer here in the US will be as big as the rest some day. The Youth clubs around my area are growing in leaps and bounds. My sons club has gone from 3 teams to 11 for 2004/05.
Americans are getting noticed everywhere.

awsum, I think he earned his stripes in the Championship series. Lord knows they can use all the defensive help they can get.
Did Howard start? He seems to be not playing well these days..

Man united's defense has been horrible and today's goal once again IMO wasn't Howard's fault but that of Silvestre's. Spector played pretty good, there is no doubt that this kid can play at the highest level IMO.

I think next summer he will get the call up after EPL season is over. I think we will start seeing Gaven more and more with the national team. Hell if we make the WC'06 I won't be surprised to see the big 4 there. |
