O Sp. Braga viu fugir a vantagem e... o Norte.

Sp. Braga: Kieskek; Frechaut, Paulo Jorge, Contreras e Carlos Fernandes; Stélvio (Roland Liz, 59m), Rodrigo Brum e Miguelito; Wender (Phlico, 79m), César Peixoto e Jailson

Suplentes: Dani, Rodriguez, João Tomás, Andrés Madrid e Breno

Ao intervalo: 0-1

Disciplina: Cartão amarelo para Van der Linden (28m), Miguelito (38m), Gregory (46m), Frechaut (60m), Marcinho (64m). Cartão vermelho directo para César Peixoto (85m)

Marcadores: 0-1, César Peixoto (48m); 1-1, Marcinho (49m); 2-1, João Luiz (54m); 3-1, Mossoró (67m); 4-1, Mossoró (68m);

Resultado final: 4-1

Maritimo downs Braga 4-1 in Portuguese league

Marcio Mossoro scored two second-half goals Saturday to help Maritimo rally to a 4-1 win over Braga in the Portuguese league.

Cesar Peixoto scored first for Braga with a penalty kick on the stroke of halftime, only for Marcinho and Joao Luiz to also add goals for Maritimo after halftime.

Peixoto was sent off in the closing stages for elbowing Joao Luiz as they contested a high ball.

Maritimo's win lifted it into sixth place with 40 points and boosted the Madeira-based team's hopes of playing in next season's UEFA Cup. Braga stayed eighth with 34.
