I never saw the highlights from the Académica game. Was he that bad? I still think he is the best striker we have, and it would take alot of bad performances to convince me otherwise.

A Bola called it a "Milagre" (Miracle).
It certainly was. Benfica never deserved anything from this match. I think this quote, from Marítimo winger Alan, sums it up:

What the hell is going on. Dinda I thought played quite badly until his great goal, and after that he was only average. I think Danny was great, providing Gaúcho with all the chances. He was our only creative player, apart from Alan. And the referee... Don't even get me started on him!!!!!!!! He deserved a 4 at the most!! |

sky sports 1 but i think channel 5 also does transworld so they might replay it or is it channel 4

I tried to tape it on channel four but my video recorder broke when i set the timer. It was on a 4.00 am!!!!
Was it any good?
