Hasnt he sent like a bajillion prophets?Christian's believe that Jesus is God so techinically for them God did come down?
Also theres a matter of Free will mate.God isnt going to spoon feed us everything.He loves us yes.But at the same time we've got to so called work for his love.When he tests us with deaths or trials you've got to stand up and say hey i know shit happens but i still believe in God and that isnt going to deter me.
We make our own fate mate.If not believing in God makes you sleep at night then so be it.I just hope that you make up for it by being a good person.Although Im not sure if thats a forgiveable offence
