Personally I am intrigued by Barca's position in this deal. I think that they were very respectful and just proved how valuable Ronaldinho was and how gd the relationships were between everyone.
I mean the fact that they could have gotten a lot more cash from Man City and yet they turned it down so as to let Dinho choose his future team is very respectful imo. Most clubs when they sell a player look to make the most money that they can....in this case Barca didn't. Irrespective if Dinho could agree a contract with Man City. Barca acted like gentleman and it is always nice to see that in football....not always about the money.

good point, barcelona gave ronaldinho the respect he deserves in selling him to the team he dreams of playing at, even though financially it was better for them to do otherwise...
