Canada, Britain, Australia, Germany, France. As to why they want to come there? People want to go to the western democracies. The US being one of them.

If your talking about geography or land mass, well most certainly the US is right up there. However Canada, Australia, Europe all offer different geographical locals. Some would say that Americans flock to leave their own country to visit these countries.

Now you bring up a key thing, qaulity of life. This might be news to you, but if your really concerned about qaulity of life, then America IS not what it once was. Actually, there is a survey, and I can't remember where I read it or found it, but America actually rates very low in terms of health care compared to most Western European countries.

How about education? Well this is not very good either. Americans are far behind the Japanese, Germans, Italians and even your northern neighbours.

How about stability of government? Well this is another one that doesn't look good. The American system of government is probably the most UNdemocratic form of democracy in the free world. In Canada, the UK, Germany, Australia, even corrupt Italy....the person in charge has to face a question period in parliament. In America, the President has a free ride to do what he wants, when he wants, regardless what congress or the people want. Absolute power. In the countries I mentioned, that IS not the case. Considering your recent history, this most definitely not a good thing. The President NEVER has to answer any questions, he just tells it like it is. Seeing how Bush has gone, I'm sure you see the flaw in this?

The other thing is personal and government debt. Bush and his buddies have basically screwed the US for years to come. And most of that debt is owned by your biggest rival, China. To me, this is not a very good thing. However the American government has done a smash up job keeping this from its people. To me, the American economy is deathly ill.

Special interests control the government and its agenda in most, if not all countries, however in the US its almost laughable at the amount of it.

Would if make you feel better if i say ONE OF?

All those things you mention are available in a lot of countries, not just the US.

And yes it would make me feel better. However that standing is in serious question, and the fact that you don't question the way your government is ruining your country is extremely troublesome.
