Joseph Yobo's brother Norum has been released.
Norum was kidnapped in Port Harcourt, Nigeria on July 6. He is now at home with Joseph in the African country.
The circumstances surrounding his release remain unclear.
The Everton defender and Nigerian international is expected back on Merseyside on Monday to begin pre-season training.
The Club had given their full support to the Yobo family and numerous messages of support from fans were received at Goodison Park.
