That is probably the worst way to do it. At least before all this the Man Utd fans and board liked him...now what happens if he doesn't move??? They will boo him and make his time there hell, or at least they should. Ferguson said he would let Ronaldo rot on the bench/ stands rather than sell him and I wouldn't be surprised if he did

He could have handled the situation much better, for example like Tatooed Crusader has written above. Man Utd can be understanding...but now players and managers a like will not look at him the same. I mean so many players have come out and said honour you contract and Blatter is a moron and yet he persists, to such an extent that SAF won't even meet him...I see a massive problem between him and the Man Utd club next season, unless of course he formally apologises focuses on his football and then hopes to be transfered next oportune time.
