In a fresh interview with Bild, Gennaro Gattuso has admitted he was close to joining FC Bayern.
While many players were absent in the "Goal4Africa" charity match, Gattuso didn't hesitate to come to Allianz Arena.
"I was very close to a move to Bayern, I have tried everything to come to Bayern. Actually, everything was clear. But it was not possible to leave. Milan didn't want to sell me under any circumstances. If I would have left Milan after almost ten years, then only for Bayern.", Gattuso said.
