His skating has improved alot and I have been taking him to power skating clinics which have been making a big difference. He's probably going to make a decent power forward since he's a very physical and scrappy type of player. The problem with my son is sometimes he shys away from the physical contact especially when he's playing defense. He has decent speed but has the habit of sticking his stick out rather than leaning his body against the puck handler and muscling it away. Trust me my son is really skinny but I have seen him take out three player with one hit...
