You are 100% correct Dellas. You talk a lot of sense in all your posts.
We don't know for sure, but Ronny should have phoned SAF and told him that if Real Madrid make an offer, could he talk to them. When interviewed about it, he should just have said something like, "If Manchester United want to sell me, they sell me. If they don't want to sell me, I will stay and play my best for them and honour my contract. But it is entirely up to Manchester United."
But I understand his head being turned by his boyhood team.
