Friday, June 27: The Puerto Rico Islanders moved up from last with a narrow 1-0 win over visiting Minnesota Friday night. In Carolina, the RailHawks made a fourth minute strike hold for a 1-0 win over Portland.
Saturday, June 28: The Charleston Battery moved into first with a 3-1 victory over Rochester Saturday night as Portland kept close with a 2-0 win in Atlanta. Montreal and Seattle exchanged late goals in a 1-1 draw.
Sunday, June 29: In the lone game of the night, Puerto Rico made it a weekend sweep of Minnesota, downing the visiting Thunder 3-1 Sunday.
Cleveland, Richmond go scoreless
Leader Charlotte earn two road draws
Friday, June 27: In the lone match, Charlotte and Western Mass finished scoreless in Ludlow. In a friendly, Real Maryland fell 2-0 to El Salvador champion L.A. Firpo.
Saturday, June 28: Richmond and Cleveland battled to a scoreless draw while Bermuda played first-place Charlotte to a 1-1 draw. Wilmington posted another impressive draw 1-1 at Harrisburg.
Sunday, June 29: Richmond was victorious in Pittsburgh 3-1 and Crystal Palace won 2-1 on the road over the Monarchs in a battle of Maryland sides.
