According to the reports in the official website of FC Bayern (here), the Supercup has been reactivated only for this season, as Ligapokal won't be held because of the Euro 2008.

FC Bayern (League champions and Cup winners) will play Borussia Dortmund (Cup finalists) on 23 July 2008, 20.30h, in Dortmund's Signal-Iduna-Park.

But, contrary to those reports, Bundesliga's official website (here) says that the DFL have not given the greenlight, after discussing the application of Bayern and Dortmund to hold the Supercup.

Let's wait and see what is happening next. I would love to see this match taking place though. It's a classic, FCB v BVB, and I wouldn't mind starting the season with a trophy won already.
