It all started back in summer 2006:

Christiano Ronaldo told the media that he had a deal with Villar Mir, one of the president candidates in the election.

" I have told my agent that I'm prepered to leave. I want to do it in a easy way. I want to play for Real Madrid and I dream about it"

Yes, Ronaldo has always been a Real Madrid supporter and he has growen up with La Liga. Madrid is -together with ManUtd- the worlds biggest and most skilled football club. They've the economy to buy from the highest level and potensial to win everything.

But Ramon Calderon won the election, and he had other plans and did not sign C.Ronaldo. Then he had to go back to Manchester again and 'say sorry', because noone else had been able to sign him. Barca had already a super team, Chelsea were unlikely and the Italian big guns were all in a difficult time in that periode.

Some people are angry at Real Madrid. I shall not sit here and write that RM is perfect, and that everything the boards do, is right. Because that's not the truth....but compare them to for example Juventus old board....its peanutes.

Real Madrid have not breaken any rules. This club has been a 'superpower' inside football since the day they were born in 1902, and noone can't even find an article about doping (drugs), mafia, blackmoney, game fixing or economic doping. Yes we had the "General Franco" question in the 50s....but I don't think he was behind Madrids all five victories in Europe in that periode....with five different clubs from other nations. If that, things had showen up before or later. But that's an other debate.

All I'm saying is that SIR Alex, ManUtd, C.Ronaldo, Real Madrid and Calderon have to calm down a bit. Its the media who is in charge for this rumours. 98 % is invented up in the media. But is it weird that they link the best player in the world to the biggest football club in the world, when he has several times said he wants a move to Spain? NO.

The truth is also that Real Madrid in the last two years have bought in players like Sneijder, Gago, Higuain, Marcelo, Diarra, Heinze, Saviola, Robben, Pepe, Metzelder, Drenthe, etc..... and its just Robben that the media started in a early progress to link him to Spain, because he was Calderons bate to win the election.

I understand that SIR Alex and AC Milan are afraid to lose their best player to Real Madrid. When I watched an angry Alex Ferguson on TV, I could see fear in his eyes....and he was extreamly angry and pissed off. He should be that on C.Ronaldo first because he has used this case to get better wage, then the spanish media, then the british. Madrid have perhaps throwen some fuel on the fire too, but they have NOT breaken any form for rules. Its NOT illegal to show interest in a footballer.

Hopefully C.Ronaldo will write under a new deal and declear his wish to play for ManUtd pretty soon. Again he has told that he need two weeks to decide everything 100 %, and thats more fuel to the spanish media. I am NOT interested to see Real using £80 mill on him either, even he has been the BEST player in the world for United this season - who have given "The Red Devils" a very deserved and impressed "The Double".
