The next player up for discussion will undoubtedly be Philipp Lahm, who recently saw the club withdraw an offer of an improved contract after he failed to agree.

Hoeneß has however told interested party Barcelona to forget about taking the German international to the Nou Camp. Apparently Manchester United are in the driving seat should Lahm be allowed to leave the Bavarian club.

Bayern manager Hoeneß told Kicker on Sunday that he believed Lahm would stay, but it remains to be seen what will happen if a bid in the region of €15 million comes in from the Old Trafford club.

If he's definately not extending, I'd sell him for 15m to Man Utd in a heartbeat. We just can't let him leave for free.
