If he leaves it will be a massive blow to Arsenal, because without him Fabregas cannot play his own game. Flamini provided cover for the back 4 and ran a lot allowing Fabregas to dictate the play and attack without having to worry too much about defending.

Also apparently Hleb is leaving as well, losing those 2 will be a massive step backwards for Arsenal and they will really need to spend in the summer to fill those gaps.
