I dont think Sven should be too bothered if Shinawatra gets rid of him. Despite the end of season drop-off, he has done a pretty good job with City in the last 10 months. Remember this was a side that scored only ten league goals at home last season, and then sold the player who scored half of them. He has managed to secure a double over Manchester Utd, bring in genuinely good players like Elano, Petrov & Corluka (with Bojinov to add to that if he comes back strong), as well as giving a lot of time to a lot of young players (Johnson, Richards, Onuoha, Gelson, Sturridge).
Even Sven's harshest critic I believe would think he was hard done by if he was sacked this summer, and I'm sure he has done his stock no harm at all in the European game. He could walk away with both his reputation, and his bank balance, nicely placed.
