Hannover grabbed a point from this game thanks largely to a much improved second half performance against relegation threatened Arminia Bielefeld.

The visitors were by far the better side in the first half, but missed a number of chances to in further ahead.

The opening fifteen minutes saw two goals with Bruggink equalising on 16 minutes after Mijatovic had given the visitors the lead two minutes earlier.

Christian Eigler headed Michael Frontzeck’s side back into the lead on 38 minutes from a Wichniarek cross. Hannover came back in the second period and grabbed the all-important equaliser through Jiri Stajner eleven minutes after the restart.
