Default Ribéry right at home with Bayern

French midfield maestro Franck Ribéry has no intention of leaving Bundesliga leaders FC Bayern. He is comfortable just where he is!

Every Wednesday, Franck Ribéry meets up with Bayern Head Coach Ottmar Hitzfeld for a personal talk. What do the pair chat about? Normally, the topic of conversation is how long the midfielder will play in the upcoming game.

Hitzfeld left Ribéry on the bench in Thursday's UEFA Cup return leg against Anderlecht, butthat has not tainted Ribérys love affiar with the Bavarian giants

This is no intermezzo"

"I am enjoying every moment here", Ribéry revealed to German football magazine "Kicker". Indeed, the French international went further to go on record as saying that he could imagine playing for Bayern until he retires: "I didn't come to Munich to use FC Bayern as an intermezzo".

Ribéry joined Bayern at the start of the season after completing a 25 million euro transfer from Olympique Marsailles, making him Bayern's most expensive player of all time. His contarct runs through until the summer of 2011.

Being popular helps me

Looking back on his first few months in Germany, Ribéry has nothing but good things to say about his new home. "I received so much warmth when I came to Munich, right from the start. I've hardly ever exerienced anything like it"

"Being so popular is amazingly important. The love I receive gives me strength and confidence. It makes me stroing", he explained.

The 24 year-old has been the talk of the league since the very first day of the season, but Ribéry is not prepared to rest on his laurels just yet. "I want to play even better! It is a massive motivation everytime the fans chant my name!
