Thousands of people travel to Italy and Rome as tourists, and most, if not all have magical experiences. Rome is one of the most beautiful places on the planet.
As for the violence, I don't support or condone it.
However, this is what I say to all fans who travel there for a game. Respect the opposing fans, to show them up, to parade like a rooster in the center of Rome, showing disrespect, and if you don't do these things, you should be fine.
I don't know the story on this stabbing, so I will not comment on it directly.
This has nothing to do with Roma the club or the game. Things that happen outside of the stadium should be dealt with by police, and those responsible should be charged and punished.
But as they say, it takes two TWO to tango. I don't believe for ONE minute that Roma fans or any Italian fan is going out intentionially stabbing supporters of other clubs without there being some sort of "tension" to begin with.
