Bronzetti reveals Roma remedy Wednesday 6 February, 2008
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Market consultant Ernesto Bronzetti has defended Roma’s transfer policy, but warns that the Giallorossi will need to invest heavily in the summer.
Bronzetti has been a regular middleman for the capital club and is often brought in to help push through transfers to the Stadio Olimpico.
Roma have come in for some criticism for their lack of signings in January as Inter continue to pull away at the top, but Bronzetti doesn’t think the lack of activity was necessarily an error.
“I have met Luciano Spalletti on several occasions and as far as I know he is happy with the squad that he has,” the FIFA agent told Il Romanista.
“It wouldn’t have made sense to make too many additions so to say that the transfer campaign was a failure is paradoxical.”
However, trailing Inter by eight points, Spalletti’s men have a mountain to climb if they are to realise their Scudetto dream and significant signings need to be made to stop the Nerazzurri juggernaut.
“With two big investments, Roma could overcome the gulf in class,” Bronzetti claimed.
“But it would need at least £20m to sign two top class players or maybe one of £12 and another of £8m.”

agree wth him on that matter.we really need to pull some investment just like we did this summer.the value he said up there is not over spending.its just adequate for club.
