FC Energie Cottbus have signed Kenny Schmidt.
The 20-year-old joined Cottbus from Werder Bremen and has put pen to paper on a contract until 2010.
The 1.84 metres tall striker had played for Werder's Under-23s in the Regional League North this season.
"We strengthen our Under-23s with Kenny Schmidt and hope to see him in our first team in the future", sporting director Steffen Heidrich explained.
