Anyone else surprised Capello has chosen England as his last management post?

Is he attempting to go out with a bang by taking one of the hardest (and most pressured/scrutinised) job in football or is this just one last big pay day?
Because it's Capello the answer is both. He gives 100% but if something better comes along (that generally pays more) he'll jump.
