In all honesty, I never doubted Capello would get the job. It's the most obvious appointment ever.
There are no English candidates above mid-table standard. Let alone the fact the FA said they were looking for a World Class coach.
Mourinho was the early favourite, but he had already said that he wouldn't take it because playing against Portugal wasn't something he was prepared to do.
Although among the best candidates was Marcello Lippi, he can't speak a word of English, so you more or less rule him out.
You won't be worried about the football if you're English. With your form, a win would be enough to make the football look absolutely incredible.
And I'm really looking forward to it, Capello vs the Media will be brilliant.
