out of the 8 left (brasil&argentina are sure), Uruguay has the best players - forlan, diogo, caceres, lugano, recoba(?) - and history, but they don't seem to be doing well, 2-2 at home vs. chile...
chile have interesting player especially matias fernandez who plays extremely well for the NT, and marcelo salas who adds alot to their attack...
peru are very disappointing. farfan, guerrero, pizarro are not producing goals. their defense is looking a bit better though. they definately can qualify.
colombia have great chances to qualify. not because of their players who are all average, but because of their home stadium - 2600m altitude- in their home they have clear advantage over any team. they beat argentina and got a draw from brasil in this campaign, and I predict they will get 3 points in all their home matches that are left. just like ecuador qualifyed to the last WC...
Bolivia are too weak and will finish last.
Venezuela are a one man team - arrango - and are doing good so far but they won't qualify imo, 7-9 place they will be.
paraguay are the hot team now. I didn't get a chance to watch one of their games for now tbh, but I heard santa cruz is doing great and the team plays good football. if they can go on with that then they may even finish 2nd as brasil are not so good and drop many points (argentina messed up only once, brasil played bad in 3 of the 4 matches...)
