Let me say this, I do remember reading comments in this very forum, and watching programs blaming Sven for everything, and that it was imperative that they get an English coach. However that might of been before Scolari and Hiddink rumours or speculation.
You guys DO know that Marcello Lippi is free and not coaching.

Funnily enough I'm not in the best of moods, sorry.
I'd be surprised if he was to end up taking the England job but would welcome him. So what he can't speak English; it isn't as if that is a big deal and he won't have to give a team talk of any significance for at least 12 months.
I'd be less surprised to see a certain Portuguese take the job. We need someone with confidence in his ability/his methods/himself who can come in and force his will on the set up while not bowing to pressure from the media. Mourinho would also be crazy enough to accept the challenge too.
The problem is though. No English coach is good enough for the job and I can't see any foreign coach being stupid enough to take on what really is the toughest job in football (the pressure from the media, having to work with the FA, battling with some of the most powerful clubs in world football just to try and obtain players for matches, the list goes on.
Unfortunately the FA will probably continue their neat trick of never learning from their mistakes and appoint Stuart Pearce.
