German coach Joachim Löw has celebrated his side's qualification for Euro 2008 by signing a new contract.
Germany became first nation to qualify for Euro 2008 after a 0-0 draw with the Republic of Ireland two weeks ago and Löw has been rewarded with a deal that will take him through to the 2010 World Cup.
"I am absolutely delighted to continue working with my team for the next few years" Löw said at a meeting of the German Football Association (DFB) on Thursday.
"Our aim will be to push on with the development of the team and also football in Germany in general."
Co-trainer Hans-Dieter Flick and goalkeeping coach Andreas Köpke have also had their contracts extended.
Former co-trainer Löw succeeded Jürgen Klinsmann as Bundestrainer after the 2006 World Cup. In 16 games, the national side have achieved 12 wins, 2 draws, and only 2 defeats, scoring 44 goals while conceding just 11.
Meanwhile, Silvia Neid, who led the Germany women's team to World Cup glory last month, has also been rewarded with an extended contract until 2013.
"I am very happy to have been able to extend the contracts of Joachim Low and Silvia Neid," said DFB president Dr Theo Zwanziger.
"I am looking forward to the continuation of our work with two competent and successful coaches and their teams."
