Campbell at the double for Hull
Quote:
A brace from Fraizer Campbell on his home debut helped Hull secure a 3-0 victory over Yorkshire rivals Barnsley at The KC Stadium.
Barnsley could have moved third with victory, but they were soundly beaten by The Tigers as Campbell hit two first-half goals on his home debut before Dean Marney wrapped up the scoring in the final minute.
Campbell opened the scoring after just seven minutes as he fired home after being played through by Dean Windass.
The 20-year-old - on loan from Manchester United - added to his tally just four minutes later when he headed home David Livermore's deflected effort.
Michael Turner missed a 73rd-minute sitter for Hull after good work from Richard Garcia, but Barnsley were a beaten team long before Marney poked a third through Heinz Muller's legs in injury-time.
