Hull v Barnsley match preview

Quote:
Hull welcome Yorkshire rivals Barnsley to the KC Stadium on Monday night, with the match live on Sky Sports 1.

Manager Phil Brown will be hoping Hull can bounce back from Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Watford, while Barnsley are seeking three points which would move them up to third in the Championship.

Hull are expected to hand Dean Windass a starting role after the veteran striker began on the bench against Watford.

However, Brown looks set to be without Jay-Jay Okocha (stomach) and Caleb Folan (foot) - while captain Ian Ashbee sits out the third game of his three-match suspension following a red card against Charlton.

Barnsley boss Simon Davey will be boosted by the return of loan signing Anderson De Silva from suspension as he looks to build on the weekend's 1-1 draw with Burnley.

Davey, though, will be without Kim Christensen - who injured his shin in training - and striker Istvan Ferenczi is still out with an ankle problem.
