Unsurprising Newcastle lost 0-2 thanks to goals from Bendtner (83) and Denilson (89).

Martins should have scored at least two goals in this game, but it wasn't to be. Newcastle played well the first half, but Arsenal dominated the second period. Although the defence was good, we just couldn't keep possession which led to Arsenals inevitable first goal.

All in all not a very good result considering the average age of the Gunners' team was 20.
