Gladbachs 18 years wizard Marko Marin received his first call up for the german U-21.
This is what he´s saying about his call up:

"For me a dream truly comes true. Its a huge honour to be part of the U-21 especially as a younger player like me. I know that the U21 is rate very higly at the DFB and is also in the spotlight (of Jogi? ) Plus it is the last step to take to get to the full national team. There are currently some examples (I think he means Tasci and *sob* Khedira here) that U-21 national players will always get a chance to proof themselves in the A-NT.
