Hearts strikers Roman Bednar and Mauricio Pinilla miss Monday's Edinburgh derby through injury.

Midfielder Bruno Aguair is also sidelined, while Christophe Berra and Lareya Kingston are suspended.

Hibernian winger Alan O'Brien is battling an ankle injury and is thought to have only a 50-50 chance.

Fellow new wing recruit Filipe Morais is also struggling for full fitness and may not be included for the short trip to Tynecastle.
