Sionko seals Gers exit
Quote:
Libor Sionko has completed his move from Rangers to FC Copenhagen on a two-year deal.
The 30-year-old Czech Republic international failed to ever find his best form in Glasgow, having been brought to Ibrox by then manager Paul Le Guen.
Sionko's spell in Scotland has proved to be little longer than Le Guen's and he concedes he was always likely to leave for pastures new.
"Since Paul Le Guen left the club, seven players out of nine, brought to the club by Le Guen, have left," he told MF Dnes.
"During the past half year the squad has gone through big changes and I expect others, for example (Filip) Sebo, will decide to leave."
It has been reported that Sionko rejected the opportunity to move to France, with St Etienne and Paris Saint Germain keen on his services, in order to seal his switch to Denmark.
