well with the injuries we are having right now, the younger players might be thrown in to the squad.

a bright chance for nani, anderson, owen, rossi and pique though not all of them but some will definetly be there in the few early games.

Boss to field full strength side

Sir Alex Ferguson will field a full strength side for United's first Asia tour match against Urawa Reds Diamonds in Tokyo.

The Reds kick-off their pre-season campaign at Saitama Stadium on Tuesday evening local time - 11:05 BST - but fans may have to wait a little longer to see new signings Owen Hargreaves and Nani in action after the United boss confirmed both are suffering with slight knocks.

"I will field a strong team," he confirmed at his pre-match press conference. "It is possible Nani won't play because he is still carrying an injury from the European Under-21 Championships with Portugal. He is a big doubt.

"There is a slight doubt over Owen Hargreaves but hopefully he'll be ready for the game in Korea. Other than that I will have the strongest squad available to me.

"Edwin will be in goal. Wes Brown, Rio, Vidic and Patrice will play at the back. Carrick and Scholes will be in midfield. Ronaldo, Giggs and Rooney will all play; I've just got to decide about one of the wide positions, possibly Darren Fletcher might step in.

"It'll be more or less the side we depended on last season. They'll probably play for just over an hour, then we'll make changes. That'll be the case during the rest of the tour; we'll mix the bunch up so they all get some decent mileage in before we head home."

The United boss was keen to acknowledge the impressive standard of Japanese football and insists the Reds will need to work hard for a result against their opening game opponents.

"I see quite a lot of Japanese football on TV. The quality has improved tremendously," he declared. "Hopefully, we can handle it on Tuesday.

"We played Urawa Red Diamonds two years ago, the stadium was fantastic and the condition of the pitch was marvellous. We had a particularly hard game against Urawa Red Diamonds two years ago and I am expecting exactly the same this time."

great, they have just been unveiled a few days ago, and even hasn't trained wth the squad for over then 10 hrs and both of the are already out of the urawa games.lets hope it ends there and doesn't drag on.
