Striker John Sutton has signed for League Two side Wycombe Wanderers.
The 24-year-old brother of former Blackburn and Celtic forward Chris Sutton was on the wanted list of at least half-a-dozen clubs including a couple of Championship sides but he was keen to link-up with Wanderers manager Paul Lambert.
"This is fantastic news," Lambert told the club's website. "John could have joined clubs much higher up the Football League, but he's opted to come to us.
"He had an excellent record in the Scottish Premier League and I've always liked him.
"He'll get goals - I've no doubt about that - but he can also bring other players into the game. He's the perfect target man."
Managing director Steve Hayes said: "We had to work very hard to get John because there was a lot of competition for his signature.
"What helped to clinch it was John's desire to play for Paul Lambert and he was also impressed by the quality of the squad that we're putting together."
Sutton's former clubs include Tottenham, Raith Rovers, Dundee and most recently St Mirren.
