Eto'o is confident in his own ability... and rightly so. also would u expect him to come to the media and start saying he was worried of losing his place to henry? that hardly shows much mental strength or confidence,
today eto'o said he is "tired" of the talkings that he is going to leave... and he said he is staying, no matter what... if you don't believe that kind of talk, I don't know what you want.
(it's not like henry said he never talked to barca... it's another kind of speaking)

Real Madrid play something like:

---------------------RvN------------------------
-----------------Raul/Guti/Higuain------------
Robinho/Reyes--Diarra--Emerson/Gago--Beckham
Carlos--Cannavaro--Ramos--Salgado
----------------Casillas-----------------------

I don't see how that's a 3-3-4? and besides, even if it was, Real have Gago, Diarra AND Emerson, who are all better than Edmilson and Motta, who would probably not be chosen anyway because of Deco, Xavi and Iniesta. And Beckham does a lot more defensively than either Messi or Ronaldinho.
this season messi and ronaldinho were supposed to attack, as part of 4-3-3.. if they will be given orders to help with the midfield, they can make it.. and they surely can be more defensive than beckham.
and about the DMs.. barca are looking for another one.. and you forgot marquez who is a DM also..

Henry doesn't always play in the box but he is definitely not a SS, he's an out and out striker and is usually the furthest man forward for Arsenal, where he is most successful.

And 98 was 9 years ago, it's not the best way to judge a player's position. And even if that was true that he was/is an SS for France, he clearly plays better for Arsenal than France so it's not his best position.
it was my opinion that henry is better as a second striker..
and henry is just like rooney in the position(examples from your world ), he can be either alone in the attack, or with another striker.. and I'm sure you agree that rooney is better when he is a second striker.(wich doesn't say anything about henry.. but for me it's enough as a proof ).

the henry trade is not sure at all.. so I'll prefer if we postpone this discussion to until we're sure

* I'm happy about this discussion.. so if you have anything to say, say it
