Assuming Iniesta/Xavi will be one of the cm/dms in the formation barra posted, that team is already far too attacking. if that is Barcelona's plan, then that's fine by me, Barca's defence is already relatively weak and any decent team would dominate the midfield... Obviously Ronaldinho, Messi et al would create chances, but they won't be seeing so much of the ball if the supply is cut off so they could probably be stiffled by any half-decent team...

my idea was to play in the same way barca played against espanyol this saturday, with henry instead of thuram/zambrotta/gio.. so they can play with 3 CBs, 1/2 DMF, 1/2 MF, 2 wingMF, 2 CFs(henry will be SS as he likes)..

that's a strong midfield... with one of the 4 wonderfuls(
) helping in the midfield, the midfield will no doubt be excellent..
the problem now is the deffence.
as they played against espanyol - it wouldn't matter 3 or 4 defenders.. the defence sucks anyway! never had one good match since 1 'n' a half years, against chelsea in the stamford-bridge.. and 3 defenders will be great, because the main problem was the WBs who kept leaving the defence and going to the other half, now it won't be possible..
don't expect those 4 to be fit for the whole year.. I don't think it will occur too much that all of them are available.. eto'o will go to the african championships.. messi will be tired after the copa america.. henry is old.. and all of them get injured too much..
and what will happen if eto'o is benched? or henry? or messi? or ronaldinho? the end of the world?
and maybe ronaldinho/messi will be playing as midfielder ( I heard rijkaard once that messi is plannd to play as a midfielder from next season..)
