I see Roma using him in another transfer...hopefully to get a striker!

Brighi heading back Rome
Thursday 24 May, 2007
Chievo midfielder Matteo Brighi will return to Roma once his loan expires at the end of the season, but he may not stay there for too long.
The Italian has spent the last three seasons in Verona where he has refined his potential and he’s now keen to make his mark with the Giallorossi.
“One thing is certain and that is that he will return to base,” noted agent Vanni Puzzolo. “I’ve spoken to Roma and there seems to be an intent to extend his contract.
“Brighi would certainly like to be a part of the Roma squad next season. He’s 25 now and is keen to play at the highest levels in Serie A and on the European stage.”
Nevertheless, the representative has admitted that Brighi would have plenty of options open to him if space proves to be limited in the capital.
“There are a host of mid-table sides and lower who are ready to snap him up, clubs like Fiorentina – he’s wanted by practically all the clubs in Serie A,” added Puzzolo.
“Roma would never give him out on a full loan now even if he may be included in a player plus cash transfer with somebody else.”
Brighi, capped once at full international level, was snapped up by Juventus in 2000 from then Serie C2 club Rimini.
Yet he never really left his mark in Turin and was loaned to Bologna, Parma and Brescia before being included in the transfer which saw Emerson leave Roma for Juve in 2004.
