But he was never going to go much further at Spurs, and he was lucky enough to get there in the first place because even then Spurs are perhaps better than him and he was injured when they bought him.
If Egyptian football is going to develop though their players have to grow up! If Mido and Ghaly are anything to go by (2 of the most successful of the current generation) then they've gotten way too big for their boots and need someone to bring them back down to earth.
