Liverpool have accepted a bid of £22m from Barcelona for midfielder Mohammed Sissoko.
Barcelona had seen an earlier "player + cash" deal turned down, but now look set to have secured the signing of the former Valencia man, subject to the player agreeing personal terms and passing a medical at the Nou Camp.
If this deal goes through, it is rumoured that Reds manager NJ10 will look to strengthen in the striker department, with Valencia's David Villa, Fiorentina's Luca Toni and Arsenal's Thierry Henry all being linked with a move to Anfield.

EDIT
Mohammed Sissoko has completed his £22m switch to Spanish giants Barcelona, after successfully coming through a rigorous medical at the Nou Camp, and agreeing terms on a five year contract. Liverpool manager NJ10 conceded that whilst Sissoko's presence, energy and work rate would be missed in the Reds' midfield, he intends to strengthen his squad substantially before the season gets underway, with wide midfielders and forwards high on his wish list.
